Beautiful things should be part of our everyday lives whether a painting or a pot. That is what I try to create as a potter, making beautiful things for everyday use. I get my inspiration from the natural world around me. Leaves, flowers, shells, the ocean and the mountains. The colours and the shapes. Nature is a never ending source of ideas.

My artistic journey started early and as a result I have painted, been a printmaker and now I’m a potter. I have taken classes and workshops throughout my life including formal ones at university and art school. Learning is a lifelong journey particularly in the visual arts. This is one step of many.
